Handmade sympathetic strings from a range of wires for any instrument type.

Each string is individually made from the most suitable material; including Red / yellow brass, twined brass, iron and steel, for historical as well as modern set-up instruments.

I calculate the required tension and gauge based on the string length and tuning you require to give optimum resonance.

I can make individual strings or full sets. Individual plain wire strings start from £15 each and twined strings start from £25 each.
